Security Officer

Open recruitment for on-call security staff at our Evaluation and Treatment Center a 24/7 acute psychiatric facility; all shifts and various days of the week. 1 year experience in police/military police/security position; healthcare preferred. Possess and maintain CPR and First Aid certification during the course of employment.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with people with chronic mental illness
• Ability to supervise and direct clients in a friendly, unemotional manner and work cooperatively with facility staff
• Ability to interpret rules and regulations
• Ability to enforce rules and regulations firmly and fairly
• Ability to work effectively with clients, staff, safety and law enforcement officials and the general public
• Able to work in a wide range of weather conditions
• Able to perform non-violent crisis intervention procedures

Salary: $13.02 - $15.10 per hour DOQ, no benefits
