MIO Transitional Case Manager
Provides screenings to mentally ill offenders in county and local jails to determine eligibility. Those offenders determined to be eligible are to receive a mental health assessment, assistance to expedite applications for new or re-instated Medicaid benefits, and to expedite, facilitate, and coordinate their return to the community.
Qualifications: - Mental Health Professional as defined in WAC.
- Masters Degree in a social services discipline or related field
- Two years experience providing services to severely and persistently mentally ill adults
- Experience with mentally ill offenders desirable
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently.
- No criminal history
- Knowledge of process to acquire client funding
- Knowledge of essential community resources available to mentally ill offender.
- Ability to complete documentation requirements according to agency policy.
Salary: $16.13 - $18.72 per hour, DOE, plus benefits
