MIO Transitional Case Manager

Provides screenings to mentally ill offenders in county and local jails to determine eligibility. Those offenders determined to be eligible are to receive a mental health assessment, assistance to expedite applications for new or re-instated Medicaid benefits, and to expedite, facilitate, and coordinate their return to the community.

Qualifications:

  • Mental Health Professional as defined in WAC.
  • Masters Degree in a social services discipline or related field
  • Two years experience providing services to severely and persistently mentally ill adults
  • Experience with mentally ill offenders desirable
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
  • Ability to work independently.
  • No criminal history
  • Knowledge of process to acquire client funding
  • Knowledge of essential community resources available to mentally ill offender.
  • Ability to complete documentation requirements according to agency policy.

Salary: $16.13 - $18.72 per hour, DOE, plus benefits
